Re: the IRS, can you write a little story, just for the fun of it, that includes 5 of these lines?
1. $300 billion
2. I think it is safe to say that __________
3. He was like, “Sorry, dude,” and I was like “MEDIC !!!”
4. I know very little of alien psychology .
5. My dysfunctional youth kept flashing through my shattered mind.
6. No, you may NOT write off _____________.
7. I am, however, still hooked on phonics.
8. Bette Davis eyes.
9. I need time for my brain to settle down so I can embrace my inner monkey.
10. His pet parrot kept squawking , “_______________.”
(I borowed two quotes from “House.”)
It’s not easy having $300 billion(1). The IRS becomes your
worst enemy. The government is a greedy thing and will now tax you
so much that you lose the desire to succeed in life.
Even if you give money to charity, you’ll hear in the future,
“No, you CANNOT write off most of your donations to the food bank, church and scholarship programs.”(6) When I donated to Sen.
McCain’s election campaign last year, I couldn’t take that off my taxes either.
I think it is safe to say that America is in decline now(2). The banks are
blamed for giving out bad loans. The government, however, was well entrenched in this fiasco. Ever since the Clinton administration, banks were actually forced to grant loans to people who’d never be able (or willing) to pay the money back. Now the finger is pointed at the banks for taking government money to pay for a mess the government forced them into.
Imagine, after all I do for this country, including obeying its laws, being a good citizen, helping others, and paying taxes, there have been times that I’ve had to work two jobs while attending college. When I was at law school, I would go to work, go to school and then go back to work. At times I took whatever jobs I could find, not relying on welfare or government money to put me through school. My wife worked, went to college, and cared for our son (she worked and went to school while he was in school). I didn’t want to settle for a simple average life.
It’s certainly not my plan to take anyone else’s money. Nothing makes me happier than when I see those who now work for me succeed in life and better themselves, and I help them toward that goal. I have bought them personal computers with my own money, found them jobs when they lost one with me, and given them extra money of mine to help them meet their bills, just to name a few things. The same morality and concern for my fellow man exists in me today that I had back in my youth when I worked two jobs to survive. And it behooves me to add that no one helped me out as I help others out today.
I need time for my brain to settle down so I can embrace my inner
monkey.(9) Maybe, I’ll feel better if I go to a concert or a rodeo tonight. Let me forget this staggering tax bill in a round of song or on a bucking bronco. When I saw that bill, it was more than my Bette Davis eyes(8) could gaze at. My accountant had to revive me when I fainted earlier today in his office. He was sweating and choking as he said “Sorry, dude,” but all I could respond was “MEDIC !!!”(3)
I asked a friend of mine, who is not very wealthy, why there is such
class envy in society. He sighed and said to me, “I know very little of
alien psychology(4) and socialist ponzi schemes.” He got a bit angry
when I told him what the result of Obama’s policies would be, yet he
knew I was being truthful. As I was on the phone with this dear friend his pet parrot kept squawking (10) , “Dang Democrats are going to break us all.”
There is also a certain liberal I know who thinks he’s a towering genius, yet he is a lumbering fool. He wishes death on anyone who makes one dollar more than him. He thinks he’s learned, watching foreign movies with subtitles. If he told the truth, he’d say, ” I am, however, still hooked on phonics.”(7) When I confronted him with his hate speech, he excused himself from blame by saying,” My dysfunctional youth kept flashing through my shattered mind, so I’m not responsible for what I say.(5) Go blame my sister.”
